چکیده
Clean water is one of the most significant challenges for our society. Efficient reuse effluent after treatment can becomes an effective solution to shortage resources. The focus this study investigate use Eichhornia crassipes plants post clarified municipal residential sewage under natural conditions using a small pilot Laboratory Water Hyacinth Clarifier system. Twelve are used total phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen removal during 20-day period various retention rates. biomass gain was 2.4-fold from initial weight 1556.5 g 3676.7 g. Total phosphorous reduction 10.64%, 11.83%, 20.93%, 41.66%, 67.12%, 40.13% 1.5, 9.0, 12.0, 24.0, 48.0 h, 120.0-hour times respectively. Ammonia between 35.71%, 33.33% 1.50 9.0-hour time 42.85% 12.0 24.0-hour time. A 71.43% resulted 48.0-hour 85.71% Overall 24.0 h 120 tend give best rates both removal. Factors such as climate, contaminant concentration, rate, weather play important role application in tertiary sequence MRS.

Methane Production by Anaerobic Digestion of Water Hyacinth (eichhornia Crassipes)
Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) is an aquatic biomass species that exhibits prolific growth in many s s o f h e world (1). It has been suggested as a strong candidate for production of methane because of high biomass yield potential (2). Several studies have been carried out which establish that methane can be produced from water hyacinth under anaerobic digestion conditions (3-6). Both b...
متن کاملAllelopathic Effects of Water Hyacinth [Eichhornia crassipes]
Eichhornia crassipes (Mart) Solms is an invasive weed known to out-compete native plants and negatively affect microbes including phytoplankton. The spread and population density of E. crassipes will be favored by global warming. The aim here was to identify compounds that underlie the effects on microbes. The entire plant of E. crassipes was collected from El Zomor canal, River Nile (Egypt), w...
متن کاملLab Scale Studies on Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes Marts Solms) for Biotreatment of Textile Wastewater
Textile wastewater contains substantial pollution loads in terms of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and heavy metals. Phytoremediation used for removing heavy metals and other pollutants by aquatic macrophytes treatment systems (AMATS) is well established environmental protective technique. A lab scale stud...
متن کاملRemoval of Cadmium and Zinc by Water Hyacinth, Eichhornia crassipes
Toxic heavy metal pollution of water and soil is a major environmental problem, and most conventional remediation approaches do not provide acceptable solutions. Wetland plants are being used successfully for the phytoremediation of trace elements in natural and constructed wetlands. This study demonstrates the phytoremediation potential of water hyacinth Eichhornia crassipes, for the removal o...
